Celebrating National Minority Enterprise Development Week

The week of 10/22/17-10/28/17 has been proclaimed as National Minority Enterprise Development Week. This designation recognizes the contributions of our country’s minority owned businesses, past and future. The President and Congress have recognized that minority owned businesses are a major driving force in our economy and thus, it makes sense to ensure their strength and vibrancy. Part of the strength of any business is its ability to access reasonably priced capital for the business. Long Island Development Corporation and LI Small Business Assistance Corp. are proud to do their part to provide capital for minority and all small businesses in our region. LIDC and LISBAC provide low cost, long term fixed rate funding for small businesses in Long Island through the NYS Targeted Loan Fund for LI and the LISBAC micro loan fund.
