LIDC President Roz Goldmacher is seen in the first slide show photo below with John Harris, winner of 2006 Commerce Bank Championship (Sr PGA) celebrating his win and LI's win in being showcased to an international audience. Roz chairs the LI Economic Development Project which airs international TV commercials showcasing LI as a place to do business, centered around the tournament. In addition, the project hosts an upscale hospitality tent which, this year, played host to a team of regional site selectors.  Roz also serves as the only female member of the Tournament's Executive Committee. The Goldmacher Family and Long Island Development Corporation are long time sponsors of the Economic Development Project.
