NATIONAL SBA ADMINISTRATOR COMES TO NY TO PRESENT AWARD

	Just recently confirmed by the US Senate, the new US Small Business Administration Administrator Steve Preston came to NY to present awards for lending performance for the 2006 fiscal year. Long Island Development Corporation received the award for SBA 504 loans. For fiscal 2006, LIDC's 504 loans increased over 25%. 504 loans are below prime, fixed rate second mortgage loans to small businesses buying buildings, condos and coops. LIDC provides 504 loans on Long Island and throughout NYS, NJ and Connecticut.        Also receiving an award from SBA was Citibank.
