The first Louis Campanelli Award was recently celebrated by SCORE, a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) partner and an organization that recognizes the entrepreneurial contributions of its 11,000 member volunteer executives. Lou Campanelli, National Strategic Alliance Director for SCORE epitomizes the entrepreneurial spirit. Lou single handedly started and operated an extremely successful chain of supermarkets. SCORE provides counseling to entrepreneurs in every phase of operating procedure. The award was presented by Hector Barretto, U.S. SBA Administrator. The event was  hosted by Roslyn D. Goldmacher, LIDC/GNYDC President-CEO, a big SCORE supporter. Goldmacher serves on the national board of SCORE. LIDC/GNYDC hosts the Long Island branch of SCORE.
