NOTED EXECUTIVE HIRED BY LIDC

LIDC, a major small business lender in the Long Island/Greater New York area, has hired noted business executive, Doris Mellina, as assistant to the president. Mellina comes to the corporation that has lent over $650 million in small business loans, with experience in marketing, real estate and public relations. Her most recent position was with The Thomas Coaching Company, as senior executive assistant and project manager. Mellina has also distinguished herself in executive positions with Protech Coatings, Inc. and Glen Contracting, Inc. Doris is incoming president of the LaGuardia Kiwanis Club in Queens. One of Mellina’s primary goals is promoting the loan programs of GNYGC throughout the Queens community.
