Entrepreneur/designer Madonna Cole is the recipient of the WEDLI / Dorothy Tripp / Sally Slacke Scholarship Award which will be given every fall and Spring to commemorate two women who were widely known and respected as business innovators and leaders on Long Island. The award, instituted and funded by Roslyn D. Goldmacher, President and C.E.O. of Long Island Development Corporation and Judith K. Beckman, Managing Director of Financial Solutions, was presented at the October meeting of the Women Economic Developers.
