In last month's
column we reviewed sources of financing for small business which
could support new initiatives in the new year. Money is not, however,
always the solution. This month's column is a review of resources
(other than money) which can provide real value to your business-
helping you become more efficient, expand, grow, be successful.
These technical assistance programs are as good and sometimes better
than money for your business!

LI Procurement Technical Assistance Program. - Free counseling
to help entrepreneurs obtain and perform on government and private
sector contracts. Just about every small business on Long Island can
